Mini sausage rolls

Mini sausage rolls
  • Mini sausages (or just cut normal sized ones)
  • Puff pastry (1 pack out of the fridge)
  • Mustard or ketchup (optional)
  • 1 egg yolk


Preheat the oven to 180° C.
Spread the puff pastry on a cold surface and cut horizontal stripes to the size of the mini sausages (+/- 3 cm x 5 cm).

If you like it, spread a bit of mustard or ketchup on the puff pastry before placing the sausages on top of it.

After placing a sausage, roll the puff pastry making two turns.

Cut the puff pastry and proceed with the next sausage until all the puff pastry is used.

Beat the egg yolk with a fork and spread it on top of the rolls with a brush.
Place the sausage rolls (around 35) on a baking tray and cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
